The C8's Tremec TR-9080 8-speed dual-clutch transmission is one of the defining parts of the driving experience.

HP Tuners now supports custom tuning of the T46 transmission controller on supported 2020-2026 C8 Corvettes after the required TCM upgrade.

HP Tuners T46 TCM Upgrade

Transmission tuning is not automatically available on a stock C8 TCM.

Supported C8 Corvettes use the Tremec T46 transmission controller, which requires HP Tuners' one-time TCM upgrade service before it can be licensed and tuned.

HP Tuners currently lists the T46 controller in:

• 2024-2026 Corvette E-Ray

The original TCM must be upgraded before transmission calibration changes can be made.

ECM Unlock / Upgrade Requirements

Modern C8 Corvettes use Global B engine controllers that require specific HP Tuners services before custom tuning is possible.

Supported LT2 C8 applications use the E99 ECM, which requires HP Tuners' Global B ECM upgrade service before tuning.

C8 Z06 / LT6

Flash the calibration and record the requested datalog.

We provide instructions for the data we need.

Step 6 — We Review the Data
