Important Installation & Tuning Note
Knock detection should never be treated as a substitute for proper ECU calibration.
Sensor mounting location, engine mechanical noise, knock frequency, fuel quality, ignition timing, air/fuel ratio, boost pressure, and other factors can affect knock detection.
The knock sensor should be installed correctly on the engine, and the system should be configured and interpreted appropriately for the application.
