Link ECU Throttle Position Sensor 6 Wire – TPSCW / TPSCCW

Add Accurate Throttle Position Feedback to Your Link ECU

The Link ECU Throttle Position Sensor 6 Wire (TPSCW/TPSCCW) provides accurate throttle-position feedback for custom throttle body and standalone ECU applications.

Available in both clockwise (TPSCW) and counter-clockwise (TPSCCW) versions, this sensor allows you to choose the correct operating direction for your throttle body setup.

It's an excellent solution for custom engine builds, individual throttle bodies, aftermarket throttle bodies, engine swaps, and motorsport applications where a reliable TPS signal is required.

Why Your ECU Needs an Accurate TPS Signal

Your Link ECU uses throttle position as an important input for engine operation and tuning.

A properly installed and calibrated TPS allows the ECU to accurately determine when the throttle is:

  • Fully closed
  • Partially open
  • Rapidly opening or closing
  • At wide-open throttle

Throttle-position data can then be used for functions such as:

  • Acceleration enrichment
  • Fuel and ignition strategies
  • Idle control
  • Overrun/deceleration strategies
  • Datalogging
  • Launch and motorsport functions
  • Engine protection and control strategies

Choose Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise

Throttle bodies don't all rotate in the same direction.

That's why this sensor is available in two configurations:

TPSCW – Clockwise Rotation
Choose this version when the throttle shaft rotates the sensor clockwise as the throttle opens.

TPSCCW – Counter-Clockwise Rotation
Choose this version when the throttle shaft rotates the sensor counter-clockwise as the throttle opens.

Selecting the correct version for your throttle body is important for proper operation.

Ideal for Custom Throttle Body Applications

This sensor is particularly useful when the original throttle-position sensor isn't compatible with your ECU or you're building a completely custom induction system.

Great for:

  • Individual throttle bodies (ITBs)
  • Aftermarket throttle bodies
  • Custom intake manifolds
  • Engine swaps
  • Naturally aspirated race engines
  • Turbocharged engines
  • Drag cars
  • Road-race cars
  • Custom standalone ECU installations

Easy to Integrate With Link ECU

The flying-lead wiring allows the sensor to be incorporated directly into your custom engine harness.

Once installed, the TPS can be calibrated through the Link ECU software so the ECU correctly recognizes 0% to 100% throttle position.

Get the Correct TPS for Your Build

When you're building a custom engine-management system, the ECU needs reliable information about what the engine is doing—and throttle position is one of the most important inputs.

The Link ECU TPSCW/TPSCCW Throttle Position Sensor gives you a clean solution for adding throttle-position feedback to compatible mechanical throttle-body applications.

Choose the correct rotation direction, install it, calibrate it in your Link ECU, and you're ready to tune.

Important Fitment Note

Before ordering, determine whether your application requires the TPSCW (clockwise) or TPSCCW (counter-clockwise) version. Rotation direction should be determined based on the sensor's movement as the throttle is opened. Verify mechanical fitment, wiring, and calibration for your specific throttle body and Link ECU application.
