Hondata S300 / KPro Custom Remote Tuning

Custom Tuning for B-Series, D-Series, H-Series, F-Series & K-Series Honda Builds

If you're running Hondata S300 or Hondata KPro and want a calibration built around your actual engine setup, this remote tuning service is for you.

We tune Honda and Acura combinations including:

B-Series

  • B16

  • B18B

  • B18C

  • LS/VTEC

  • B20/VTEC

D-Series

  • D15B

  • D16Z6

  • D16Y8

H / F-Series

  • H22

  • H23

  • F20B

K-Series

  • K20A

  • K20A2

  • K20A3

  • K24A

  • K24A2

  • K20/K24 Hybrid Combinations

Naturally aspirated, turbocharged, supercharged, nitrous, street, or race — your calibration is built around your engine, your fuel, your modifications, and your datalogs.

Performance Without Sacrificing Longevity

Our goal is not to make one impressive pull and send you on your way.

We want your engine to make strong, repeatable power and continue performing.

That means we pay attention to:

  • Air/Fuel Ratio

  • Ignition Timing

  • Knock

  • VTEC Crossover

  • VTC on K-Series

  • Injector Duty Cycle

  • Fuel Pressure

  • Boost Control

  • Intake Air Temperature

  • Engine Temperature

  • Datalog Consistency

The best tune is one that makes power and keeps making power.

This Is a Custom Tune — Not a Generic Basemap

Every engine combination is different.

A B20/VTEC with an intake, header, and exhaust should not be tuned the same as:

  • A turbo B18C

  • A nitrous K20A2

  • A cammed H22

  • A boosted D16

  • A K24A2 swap

We build the tune around the parts actually installed on your engine.

Your calibration can include adjustments to:

  • Fuel

  • Ignition Timing

  • VTEC

  • VTC

  • Rev Limit

  • Idle

  • Cold Start

  • Injector Calibration

  • MAP Sensor Calibration

  • Boost Control

  • Launch Control

  • Other Supported Hondata Parameters

How Remote Tuning Works

Step 1 — Send Us Your Complete Setup

After ordering, we'll gather information about your engine and modifications.

We may ask for:

  • Engine

  • Cylinder Head

  • Intake Manifold

  • Throttle Body

  • Injectors

  • Fuel Pump

  • Fuel Type

  • Header

  • Exhaust

  • Camshafts

  • Compression Ratio

  • Turbo / Supercharger

  • Boost Level

  • Nitrous Setup

  • MAP Sensor

  • Wideband

  • Other Modifications

Step 2 — We Build Your Starting Calibration

We create the initial tune around your exact combination.

This gives you a proper starting point instead of a random basemap.

Step 3 — You Flash the Calibration

Using Hondata SManager or KManager, you load the tune into your ECU.

Step 4 — Record the Requested Datalog

We tell you exactly what type of datalog we need.

Depending on the setup, this can include:

  • Idle

  • Cruise

  • Part Throttle

  • Wide Open Throttle

  • Boost

  • VTEC Crossover

  • Nitrous Activation

Step 5 — We Review the Data

We analyze the log and make corrections based on what the engine is actually doing.

Step 6 — Tune Revisions

We adjust the calibration and send you a revised file.

You flash it, datalog again, and we continue refining the tune as necessary.

Your tune is built around YOUR engine — not somebody else's setup.

Naturally Aspirated Tuning

We tune naturally aspirated Honda combinations ranging from simple bolt-ons to high-compression race engines.

Common setups include:

  • Intake

  • Header

  • Exhaust

  • Intake Manifold

  • Larger Throttle Body

  • Camshafts

  • High Compression

  • Ported Cylinder Head

  • VTEC Conversions

  • LS/VTEC

  • B20/VTEC

  • K20/K24 Combinations

Proper fuel, timing, VTEC, and cam-angle calibration can make a major difference in the shape of the entire powerband.

Turbo & Supercharged Tuning

For boosted builds, the tune becomes even more critical.

We can calibrate supported combinations with:

  • Turbochargers

  • Superchargers

  • Larger Injectors

  • Upgraded Fuel Pumps

  • 3-Bar / 4-Bar MAP Sensors

  • Boost Control

  • Flex Fuel

  • E85

  • Built Engines

  • High-Boost Applications

Boosted tuning includes close review of:

  • Air/Fuel Ratio

  • Ignition Timing

  • Boost

  • Injector Duty Cycle

  • Fuel Pressure

  • Intake Air Temperature

  • Knock

  • Engine Load

Nitrous Tuning

We also tune nitrous combinations.

Nitrous changes cylinder pressure very quickly, so fueling and ignition timing need to be configured correctly.

Depending on the setup, tuning can include:

  • Fuel Enrichment

  • Ignition Timing Reduction

  • Activation RPM

  • Deactivation RPM

  • VTEC Coordination

  • Safety Strategies

  • Datalog Review

Proven Honda Results

We have tuned Honda combinations across naturally aspirated, boosted, and nitrous setups.

K20A2 + 100 Shot

One example is an unopened K20A2 that made:

239 HP naturally aspirated

on the street calibration before going onto the dyno.

With a 100-shot of nitrous, the same engine made:

331 HP

That is the kind of result we want — power backed by proper calibration and data.

All-Motor B20/VTEC

We have also tuned naturally aspirated B20/VTEC combinations with basic bolt-ons such as:

  • Intake

  • Header

  • Exhaust

These engines respond extremely well when fuel, ignition timing, and VTEC crossover are optimized together.

B18C Type R Example

Another example is a B18C Type R engine with:

  • 2.5" Intake

  • Full Exhaust

  • Stock Type R Header

The combination produced approximately:

190 HP

What matters just as much as the peak number is the shape of the curve.

A broad, flat torque curve means the engine makes usable power throughout the RPM range instead of only producing one impressive peak number.

VTEC Tuning Matters

VTEC crossover should not simply be set to a random RPM.

The correct engagement point depends on:

  • Engine Displacement

  • Camshafts

  • Intake Manifold

  • Header

  • Compression

  • Boost

  • Other Engine Modifications

We adjust the crossover to create the smoothest and strongest transition possible.

The goal is a power curve that continues climbing instead of dropping or flattening when VTEC engages.

K-Series VTC Tuning

On K-Series engines, VTC calibration can dramatically affect the powerband.

Proper cam-angle tuning can improve:

  • Low-RPM Torque

  • Mid-Range Power

  • Turbo Spool

  • High-RPM Power

  • Overall Engine Response

We use datalogs to refine cam angle throughout the RPM range instead of simply using one fixed value.

What You Need

You will need:

For S300

  • Hondata S300

  • Compatible OBD1 ECU

  • SManager

  • Windows Laptop

  • Wideband O2 Sensor

  • Reliable Internet Connection

For KPro

  • Hondata KPro

  • Compatible ECU

  • KManager

  • Windows Laptop

Mechanical Condition Comes First

A tune cannot fix a mechanical problem.

Before remote tuning, make sure your vehicle does not have issues such as:

  • Boost Leaks

  • Vacuum Leaks

  • Weak Fuel Pump

  • Clogged Fuel Filter

  • Bad Injectors

  • Ignition Problems

  • Poor Grounds

  • Overheating

  • Incorrect Cam Timing

  • Low Compression

  • Faulty Sensors

If the datalogs show a mechanical problem, it may need to be corrected before tuning can continue.
